The club is very pleased to announce the appointment of Justin ‘Yup’ Neumann to the position of senior club coach for the 2021/22 season.
Yup played his junior cricket with Nairne before moving onto senior ranks at the Razorbacks enjoying considerable success. He was a member of 4 x A Grade premiership teams at Nairne during the 1990’s where he later also had a stint as captain/coach.
Yup played a number of seasons at the Kensington ‘Browns’ Cricket Club where he played in an A Grade One Day Grand Final on the Adelaide Oval although unfortunately Tea Tree Gully proved too good on the day. He did however manage 2 x C Grade premierships during his time playing at Kensington.
After moving to the Strathalbyn Cricket Club Yup has played cricket across all senior grades over the years and was a member of the 2019/20 C Grade premiership team and last season he captained the club’s B Grade side.
The club is looking forward to the extensive cricket knowledge and experience Yup brings to the position both from an on and off field perspective.
