Last year when the club celebrated its 150 year anniversary some long lost club memorabilia was uncovered. One such piece of memorabilia was the Junior Cricketer of the Year shield donated by Peter and Leeanne Overall.
Ben Cousins was the only winner on the original shield which was awarded from 2002/03 through to 2004/05 with the new shield starting in 2008/09.
The original shield has now been mounted on the current shield to ensure that club history is not lost and importantly to acknowledge the donors, Pete & Leeanne Overall.
Peter Overall is a past club President, Life Member and was last year selected in the “Perry Jones Legends XI” while Leeanne served on the SCC committee for a number of seasons.
Congrats again to Riley Tonkin who has won the Junior CoTY for the past 2 seasons.
