The club is pleased to announce the appointment of Brayden Gaiter as A Grade captain for season 2021/22.
Brayden assumes the reins from Mark Abbott who has elected to step down after 6 seasons at the helm. We thank Mark for his dedicated service and look forward to having him back fit and firing for the season ahead.
Brayden played his junior cricket at Strathalbyn and captained the club’s U16 premiership side in 2016/17. He has represented SA in National junior championships and played SACA Premier League cricket with Southern Districts before returning to play at Strathalbyn in 2019/20.
Brayden will celebrate his 21st birthday next week just prior to Round One so the club recognises it is a big challenge for someone so young but one we are confident he will step up to.
